My name is Naomi Moore, I was born in 1994 in Hastings, East Sussex, in England. In 2004 I moved to New Zealand with my family.
I'm currently almost 15 years old and pretty proud to have three books under my belt already. Unlike most of the other people my age, I don't think of writing as work. I remember a famous quote I once heard; find a job that you love, and you'll never work another day of your life.
I live in an ordinary house, on an ordinary road with my mum and dad, my brother, my sister and my little dog Roxy. I don't go to a special school, or do any special classes; I'm just, I suppose, like everyone else, but with a little extra homework.
To pass the time when I'm not writing, I've usually got my nose in a book but on the rare occasions when I'm doing neither, I enjoy sketching in my sketchbook or just mucking around with my dog.
I love animals and artwork and that old rock band ,Queen, but most of all I just love to write.
I have had a passion for books and writing since I started school at 5 years old. This love developed over the years and by the age of 12, I had completed my first full length manuscript entitled 'Eevee'.
Sadly, in 2007 my grandfather passed away and I returned to the UK briefly to attend his funeral. My grandfather was also a keen writer, and aspiring author.
Whilst in the UK, a half-finished manuscript by my grandfather entitled 'Chasing the Rainbow' was uncovered. To honour my 'Grandpops', I decided to complete his novel, and in 2008 the book was published. This became my first published novel and has won the hearts of readers worldwide.
